MILL OF PERFORMING ARTS “SE7EN”

1 Festival, 4 days, 1,770 minutes of accessibility and inclusion for those who could come and for those who watched from afar. All this is the 7th Mill of Performing Arts ‘SE7EN’, which took place from 24 to 27 September 2020. But there is so much more than that.

The Mill of Performing Arts was a challenge for its coordinators, for the dozens of artists who attended, for the ingenuity and experimentation that made accessibility and inclusion tangible in this challenging year.

Among the many, many more that the 7th Mill is, we, the members of the MAKE USE team, find ourselves adding our own detail. From welcoming, measuring people’s temperature, to supporting people with disabilities to participate in the workshops. From technical support, supervision and active participation to providing some much needed hot sandwiches and coffee. From keeping the place clean until these 1,770 minutes have passed and knowing that, amidst everyone and everything, we too did our best.

Because the Mill was, is and will be for everyone, and everyone doesn’t just mean us.
