Last Friday (25 June) we gathered next to the pedestrian bridge of Pinios river in Tampakika, used our magical kit and enjoyed the- now – trash-free public space with improvisations on drums and percussion (under the musical guidance of the awesome Billy Primand a short session of relaxation and connection with the surrounding space by Dimitra Zacharouli (Synergy of Music Theatre).
If one has not experienced it, it is hard to understand why it is so important and how our perspective on public space changes when we take a step of reconciliation with it. Check out our team’s smiles here and you might be convinced by them (“a picture is worth a thousand words” and such).

The action was organised as part of the AJCM festival 2021 coordinated by the Atelier des Jeunes Citoyens de la Méditerranée. In total, 1,574 km have been cleaned up across the Mediterranean and 4 tons and 629 kg of litter (not bad at all but we can do better every day).
The MAKE USE kit was created and produced last summer, by our hands and funded with the help of the international network Generation Europe – The Academy.
