On Tuesday 4 April, we were visited by students of the Elementary School of Kranea, Elassona with their teachers, in the welcoming space of Connectiva for a MAKE USE kit production workshop.

After getting to know the children (from 1st to 6th grade) and talking about how much littering in public places pisses us off, we decided to make some MAKE USE kits.

The children took some of the kits they made with them to show their friends and family, to talk to them about the value of caring for public space and to use them when they are in a place to leave it cleaner than they found it.

More importantly, they enthusiastically agreed to donate the rest that they made with their own hands to other people, in order to help them think differently and change the culture of using public spaces.

You can take some of these kits for free from Connectiva (Venizelou 133).

The workshop was implemented by the members of the team: Katerina Kokkinou, Vasiliki Tsaknaki, Georgia Kollyra and Andreas Almpanis.
